Information you give us
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address, mailing address.
- Job application details: date of birth, Social Security number, CDL number, issue state and dates, driving experience, employment history, answers about tickets and suspensions, and your signature.
- Documents you upload, such as your CDL, medical card or resume.
- Messages you send us by form, email, phone or text.
Information from others
- Facebook and Instagram lead forms you submit to us.
- With your written authorization, background and safety reports: motor vehicle records (MVR), the FMCSA Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP), the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, and previous employers for employment verification.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring site, through cookies and similar tools (Meta pixel, and Google Analytics).
2. How we use your information
- To review your application, contact you, schedule interviews and make hiring decisions.
- To run background, safety and qualification checks required for commercial drivers under federal and state law.
- To send the text messages, calls and emails you agreed to receive.
- To respond to questions and provide our services.
- To keep our website secure and understand how it is used.
- To meet legal, regulatory and recordkeeping obligations.
3. Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages from Freightech Inc, we use your mobile number to send messages about your driver application, interviews, job offers and, if you separately agreed, new driving positions. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us operate, such as our driver application platform, messaging and phone platform, background screening providers and website host. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- With previous employers and government agencies, as needed to verify your history and meet safety regulations, with your authorization.
- When required by law, court order or to protect the rights and safety of Freightech, our drivers or others.
- With a buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged.
5. How we protect and keep information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep information as long as needed for hiring, our business and legal requirements, including federal driver qualification record rules.
We will never ask you to send your Social Security number, CDL or medical card by text message. Please submit documents only through our secure online application.

- Text messages: reply STOP to any message.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link or contact us.
- Access or correction: contact us to review or update the information you gave us. Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights; contact us to make a request.
7. Children
Our website and services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
